    Karen Osorio de Barros, CEO, has spent many years leading successful high profile projects and programs for numerous Fortune 500 companies. She has seen first hand the challenges that many corporations have with their data management, and the effort required with data integration and resolving data quality issues. Having led two successful and profitable start-ups, Karen knows the importance of data. She works closely with clients to show them that managing their data can be done easily in a short period of time and does not need to be the daunting and laborious undertaking that it traditionally has been.

    Tim Reimer, CTO and creator of the E2FHub™️ , is a PhD candidate in Faculty of Electrical and Software Engineering at the University of Calgary and brings a vast wealth of technical experience. Throughout his career his consulting focused on data engineering for data pipelines and enterprise application integration scenarios. He has consulted for companies, in the US, Europe and Canada. The continuous search for new data engineering solutions has been the catalyst for his current research which is focused on optimization and development of semantic data transformation solutions using AI and knowledge graphs. Recognizing that a solution in this space would save significant time and money for corporation his research proposal was accepted by the faculty.

  • Richard Peters, B.Comm

    LLB Director

    Richard Peters, an independent director of Semtec, is the Vice President, Legal and General Counsel of an Alberta technology company and a Director of Pine Hill Capital. He has more than 30 years of experience as a corporate lawyer focusing on securities, mergers and acquisitions. He has advised listed and private companies on matters of corporate governance and securities law compliance and negotiated a variety of partnerships, joint ventures and technology licensing arrangements. Richard has a B.Comm (Hon) degree in finance and an LLB degree from the University of Manitoba.
